The title sounds celebratory, but getting there wasn't an easy journey for Epik High. On WE'VE DONE SOMETHING WONDERFUL, the veteran hip-hop trio tackles sacrificing for your dreams ("LOST ONE"), uncomfortableness with success ("BLEED"), and personal anguish ("HERE COME THE REGRETS"). Both melancholy and gorgeous, the LP features a multifaceted K-pop cast to tell stories that are vulnerable (LEE SUHYUN's tender soprano shines on "THE BENEFITS OF THE HEARTBREAK," while CRUSH croons through the hopeful-yet-heartbreaking "MUNBAE-DONG") and cocksure ("NO THANXXX" features confident, explicit verses from multiple generations of Korean rappers).
