CHEEEEE! the green does it again! love these guys! cant wait till there full lenght album comes in october!
yah the greeeeeeen! BLESS UP!

First review of "Love & Affection EP"

Great Ep, can't wait for the full album to come out. Love & Affection is a great dancehall vibe love song showcasing Caleb's vocals the best of any green song besides maybe "Alive". Got Me In Love and She Was the Best are more in the style of "Love I", which was their biggest radio hit off their self titled debut album. Ikaika really lets his vocals shine in the first verse and chorus of "Got Me In Love", followed by Caleb right into the next track "She Was the Best", another rocksteady love anthem. And the final song "Travlah" is another JP classic inna roots man style. Top it off with a Michael G dub version and you've got the "Love & Affection EP", from the best band coming out of the Hawaii right now, and one of the best reggae bands in the world. Only thing missing on this EP was the soulful sounds of Zion. Bless up to The Green. Buy this EP and buy "Ways & Means" out October 25th and support real roots music.

The Green has not fallen into the "sophmore slump" to any degree, if anything they sound even better. You can't help but smile when you hear the amazing tracks of this EP. October 25 can't get here fast enough to get the full length album. I have no doubt that The Green will have another #1 Reggae album.

Their self-titled debut appeared in 2010, and went on to win Best Reggae Album at Hawaii’s 2011 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards. A year later, both the EP...
