I've been a Numan fan since Tubeway Army. While I understand all artists find their niche and go with it, I'm not too impressed with Numan's dark sound. A couple of dark albums is ok. But Numan's been dark ever since "Exile". Sorry folks, but nothing, I mean nothing, compares to "Replicas", "Telekon", "Beserker", "I Assassin" & "The Pleasure Principle".

Stunning ...

I am absolutely floored by this album. I was introduced to Gary Numan's work just before Jagged and absolutely connected with the pitch-black rhythms. But this album has a stygian beauty beyond anything yet. As I get older, I seem to find I'm more connected to shadows and pulses of pain and life unfulfilled. Plus, it rocks.

As much as I like the early albums, this blows everything to date away. Exceptional!

WOW! My fave of 2013!

I absolutely love this CD. The CD cover art is sooo cool and the music matches the feeling of the cover art. The music is powerful and a little creepy with an electronic twist. It feels like Gary Numan meets American Horror Story. It's a GREAT combination. I am going to be listening to this CD for a long long time. It's so deep and layered beautifully. Well crafted Mr. Numan! Buy it! You will not be disappointed!!!

That seminal track helped usher in the synth pop era on both sides of the Atlantic, especially his native U.K., where he was a genuine pop star and consistent hitmaker during the early '80s. Even after new wave had petered out, Numan's impact continued to make itself felt; his dark, paranoid vision, theatrically icy alien persona,...
