I have to say I am less than impressed. So many of the songs are about sex, not love as their titles suggest. The songs are not musically the kind that would stick in your head. I am all about a good romance album...maybe next time. Your audience is mostly female, think of the words females want to hear. This just doesn't seem like the Joe who we all thought we knew. Is this YOU? Is this real? Is this exactly who YOU want to be Joe? Follow uour heart and not the label...

Is this for real?

Omg this album is horrible what was he thinking!?!? I just barfed alittle.... Lol

Perception is Not Reality

If Maroon 5 or Justin Timberlake did this album it would've been a smash, but because people put expectations on him it didn't go over as well. So he switched genres & tried something new. Since when has the exploran of artistic mediums been a bad thing? He's a guy with a rock voice making club music. It makes for a funky twist. I don't love all the songs, but a few of them are plain addictive. I think part of what puts people off is that he sings raw with a rock-ish kinda voice, where as most people who sing this style are very smooth. I look at the difference as a welcome change. It's not a Grammy-worthy album, but it's no less worthy of a listen than any of album out there. Listen with an open mind rather than an open mouth.

Joe, who’d already done some Broadway acting of his own, helped write several songs on Nick’s debut album. Those tracks eventually wound their way onto the desk of Columbia Records president Steve Greenberg, who decided to shelve...
