Falls short...

I've been a big fan of Michael Mcdonald for years, but his version of this song falls short. It doesn't capture the intended mood of the song like the beautiful, soulful anguish of Teddy Pendergrass' voice did in the original version. The instruments seem more subdued in this version as well. Go get Teddy's version, now!

Micheal McDonald's rendition is nice, but it can't touch Teddy P's version of Love T.K.O.
