True Blue

You would think a song like "True Blue" would be kinda corny, what with the rhyme scheme being very predictable and the fact the Conor almost always prides himself on not singing cohesively. But! The way Conor pulls this off, it turns into being quite epic. And with lines like "There's not much that I won't do, unless it keeps me from being true blue", will keep you singing long after you turn your iPod off. Oh yeah, and 'Lua', that song's just brilliant!

A great intro to Bright Eyes folk type songs and if you enjoy this single, then try Fevers and Mirrors which is an outstanding album from beginning to end.
