Ha ha ha yes!

Wow! My uncle was very into Texas music when I was younger and he was pretty amused by this band. He bought me a cassete of this album and i tottally listened to it all the time when I was a young un'. I remember how bad I felt when I lost it and could never find it. I tottally forgot about this band until like today and looked them up on itunes. This album brings so many awesome memories of car trips and everyting from my early childhood. Yes this is a children's band, but these guys are awesome. Even though I'm 16 I still remember all these crazy awesome songs and right now I can't help but sing "throw him out the window". I would defintely buy this for yourself or your kids.

part of my own personal history

These guys are the best. I've been listening to them since high school (late 80s) and my littlest sister has listened to them her whole life! It was the first band she ever requested by name ("Troufamesa"). The music clicks just as readily with adults as with children. Super clever, and I hope they never quit!

I Love These Guys

Beleive it or not, these guys have been around, and deserve every bit and more of what they get! My family used to be a receiver of their mailing list back in the day when they had this rusty old , but famous clunker. I remember them playing these songs when I was a kid to a live audience with out an amp. This is a great album, with some of my favorite songs- particulary its namesake. Thank You Trout Fishing for great fun, and not brainless music for kids- your summers here in Texas paid off, my hat is off to you and your success!
