Album Review

This adventurous seasonal experiment incorporated neo-classical textures with full orchestration, a boys choir, and Smith's less than classically trained vocals.

Michael W Smith Christmas

This is such an amazing CD. I first heard it in 1997 and what a gift! It invokes such an array of emotions, I can't speak highly enough of it's beauty!

Brings Real Reason to Life

This is an awesome Christmas CD that makes you feel you are at a choral festival at midnight on Christmas Eve. The music is beautiful and the lyrics are awesome. "No Eye has Seen" , a duet with Amy Grant, always brings a tear to my eye because I think of my late Grandparents with the lyric about the immortal voices singing praises, "All is Well" starts out with a boy soprano and leads into a choir singing a great song. And of course the big song on the CD is "Gloria" a very up tempo version of "Angels we Have Heard on High". This is a great version of the traditional carol.

Lux Venit

Lux Venit is so spiritual...what an awesome song...and album...Jesus is glorified by this album. Christ the Messiah is a powerful song.

That support group split up after high school, and Smith turned to alcohol, drugs, and wild...
