Beyond Blue, Indeed

I am so pleased to see this album on iTunes and for the world to get a chance to hear this amazing woman, whom I first heard at First Cabin in Arcadia, Calif., where she plays regularly. I took lessons from her and she is a great teacher. Her jazz-blues fusion composition and title cut "Beyond Blue" is worth the cost of the entire album. The rest of the songs are a bonus, including the deeply personal "Still Remember." Who was she still remembering? I don't know -- but whoever it was, they obviously touched her deeply. Thanks, Kim, for the great tunes -- and for the lessons. Go Chiefs! And hello to Barnaby the hound.
