I LOVE this band! I got to hear them live today and they were amazing!
The love that sought me!
Gives me chills of excitement and humbles my heart at the same time.
My new favorite Christian band!!!👍
I never write reviews, but had to give this band the credit they deserve. I have bought everything Citizens has ever made and I've never been disappointed...ever! This band has got major talent and is able to deliver and bring to life old classic hymns reinvented in a style that appeals to the younger generation. The gritty heartfelt shouts from the amazing vocal chords of Zach Bolen send chills up my spine while jump starting my worship into zealous flame. Keep doing what you're doing, make much more awesome Christian music, and thank you for shouting what others whisper!! I love this band!!! Buy this album!!
About Citizens & Saints
Seattle's Citizens & Saints formed in 2011 under the moniker Citizens around the talents of Zach Bolen, Nathaniel Furtado, Adam Skatula, Brian Eichelberger, and Spencer Abbott. The CCM group blended inclusive faith-based themes with melodic, emotionally intense alt-rock that took cues from post-punk and Americana. Initially affiliated with Mars Hill Church, where Bolen was a deacon, the group issued its eponymous debut long-player as a joint effort between Mars Hill and BEC Recordings in 2013. Both Bolen and the band broke from Mars Hill the following year, changing their name to Citizens & Saints and releasing their follow-up LP, Join the Triumph, this time solely through BEC. A Mirror Dimly, the band's third studio long-player, dropped in 2016, followed by the five-song In Part EP in 2017, the latter marking their debut for Gospel Song Records. ~ James Christopher Monger
