So good!!!

This album is just what you need!!! Love it!!! Great voice, but also excellent music changes.

Smooth, chillaxin, bluesy countryesque

I'm terrible at describing music and have no professional experience in that realm, so forgive my ill-informed review, but I know I liked this group. I saw Seth Power and the Part Timers opening for Shelly Fairchild at Duling Hall, Jackson, MS. Small venue, but this band should be blowing up IMO. What a steal to hear these people for only fifteen bucks. Lead male and female vocalists are really good. Seth has a husky, folksy voice that contrasts nicely with the melodic female backup. They covered Tracy Chapman and David Allen Coe's Tennessee Whiskey song and sounded phenomenal. I liked how Seth played the acoustic well and it paired great with his voice. They played a couple of originals that sounded really catchy, but unfortunately couldn't make out the lyrics thanks to the boisterous group carrying on sidebar next to our table. I could definitely listen to this band round the campfire with my fishing line out so I bought the EP.
