Editors’ Notes

GRAMMY®–nominated singer/songwriter Kari Jobe achieves the difficult feat of building a live worship experience around a set of all-new material on Majestic. The album takes its title from the historic Dallas theater where it was recorded—but it refers equally well to the sense of glory its music embodies. Jobe delivers performances that are both intimate and emotionally powerful, using the delicacy of her vocals to convey deep spiritual rapture rather than mere surface beauty. From the arena-sized rock dynamics of “Breathe on Us” and “Keeper of My Heart” to the contemplative pop strains of “Look Upon the Lord” and “I Am Not Alone,” she sings with vulnerability and conviction. The album’s songs—cowritten by Jobe with such noted Christian tunesmiths as Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, and Paul Baloche—draw the crowd into a shared act of praise that’s sustained through the final notes of the closing track, “Let the Heavens Open.” “Forever” stands out for its vivid portrayal of Christ’s passion and resurrection that builds into a ringing cry of faith. Fellow worship pastor Cody Carnes blends voices with Jobe on another key track, the aching “Holy Spirit.”

This new song!!! MY MY MY!!! So good! SO excited for this new album! Kari's "Forever" is such an amazing song with an incredible message. I'm absolutely positive that this album is going to be her best work yet! Can't wait for new worship music! Thanks, Kari!

Listen to it, over and over again!

My first, review on Itunes. And yes it has to be on a Kari Jobe album. Why?
(Excuse the grammar and spelling)
1. Because she co-wrote Victor's crown with Darlene Zschech and worshiped along side with Miriam Webster...(Still addicted to that song!)
2. Because of my car stereo. (Blasting it!)
3.Because my mother who doesn't even speak english, commented at her voice and said how it is easy to listen to, and sounds as if she is lifting prayer in her singing.
4.Because Kari Jobe, makes worship through music and songs fun!
5.Because of Sparrow Records, thank you always.
6.Because of the Lord, and all that he has done, through her and the people who worked very hard to make this album, special. And because it's my birthday tomorrow. My 22nd birthday. And she has made it special, just like two years ago, when Britt Nicole released 'Gold'. To us all, let's be blessed! I mean, I could listen to whatever is on the radio right, now, but this is what brings, my drive around town, fun, joyful, and awesome. Regardless of life's circumstances... So,
let's praise the Father (Creator through Genesis) The Son (Word through John) The Spirit (Doing through Acts) ---"Hands to the Heavens"
Who created the world through his word, doing it with spirit and in truth. Joint together. Our father, our son, our spirit, three in one. Our God. You are for us. You are Majestic God! You are #1.

As much as I love and appreciate Keri jobes God given talent and emotion with which she sings I have to say this album was ultimately disappointing to me. Much of this album uses the same material she's used in the past just a live version which really does not make the material sound any newer. The few songs she has on here that are new are using the same chord progression and similar lyrics to the work she's already done. Overall not impressed. I love her voice but I wouldn't buy this album.
