Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

This guy is fun, creative, zany and a blast to listen to!!! It's kid's music that is witty (listen closely to the lyrics, like on What Kind of Cat Are You? and Some Houses), hilarious, and adults and kids will both love listening to! Just be careful while driving: this CD causes you to bounce and dance around, singing and laughing!

Original, clever and wonderful album for kids and adults

My children received this album from a friend several years ago and listened to it nonstop in the car. Then we moved and lost it. I just bought it off iTunes and my kids still remember the songs. Jonas' lyrics are clever and original and never dumbed down for children. This album incorporates unusual and unexpected sounds where you'll find yourself listening, drumming and humming as attentively as your kids. The title song is a clever lesson in vocabulary and the first word my daughter ever learned to spell (that wasn't her name) was "Watermelon." "Some Houses" is probably my favorite though may sound too serious for the younger set. They might prefer "Pharoah Pharaoh" and "Alien in My Lungs." What I love about this album the most is the breadth of the songs' themes and lyrics. From the eruption of Mount St. Helens to snot to children's imaginations, the lyrics are timeless and the music is fantastic. Can't wait to hear what else Jonas comes up with.

Fun for big and small audience members

This album is a welcome addition to the (thankfully) growing trend toward children's music that adults can not only tolerate, but actually enjoy. This album covers a wide breadth of moods, tempos, and subjects. The cd does a fabulous job of encouraging listeners to participate in the songs. I find myself singing many of the songs long after I have put the little one to sleep.
