Just Be Free CD

This Album was the album that she came to the reccording lable with and they were like NO. So then when the movie Mulan came out someone working with the movie was like I know someone's voice who would work great with this song. So they got Christina to sing the Mulan Song (Reflection). Then They gave her a reccord deal. That is when she came out with the self titeled album "Christina Aguilera." After that, then they wanted to put out the CD that she first came to them with. She didn't really want to realease it because she was 15-16 when she wrote these. They put a disclamer on the CD informing the People that she wrote this CD before the self titled CD came out. So no one really heard of this CD for the most part

This album REALLY made me laugh. I am a huge fan of Christina's and I think that this album is not at all met at her standards, but it does have a few good songs which didn't surprise me. I don't think Christina can do a disappointing album. We all love her (admit it you know you do deep inside) and we all know she's the most talented singer who's ever walked the planet. This isn't worth all your money but if I were you, I would but Just Be Free, Make Me Happy, and Running Out of Time. She's a wonderful artist and she sung great at 15 (still does now at 26), but you can't hear it on this record. I luv you Christina and keep doing what you do.

Not so good...

Ok... Of course you can't compare this CD with 'Stripped' and 'Back to Basics', but Christina's voice impressed me at this album, because it was recorded when she was 14/15 years old. Save from 'Just Be Free' and 'Believe me (Dance Mix)', this CD isn't good... but Christina can really sing everything!

Born: December 18, 1980 in Staten Island, NY

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

A leader in the parade of Mickey Mouse Club veterans who stormed pop at the turn of the millennium, Christina Aguilera was the sexy, brassy diva of the bunch -- the Rolling Stones to Britney Spears' Beatles, as it were. Initially, it was difficult to see Christina outside of the prism of Britney, whose 1999 success launched the new millennium's teen pop boom, but Christina's big hits of 1999 -- "Genie in a Bottle," "What a Girl Wants," "Come on Over" -- more than held their own with "...Baby One...
