Underrated Prince of Glam

Perfect for Glam Connoisseurs of early Bowie & Roxy Music. Electric Warrior T Rex. Or Imperial Bedroom era Costello. Not to mention The Kinks & Post Punk rockers, The Only Ones. Big in England but barely made a dent here. Steve Harley could be considered Glam's great missing link on these shores. Decadent, obtuse imagry. Character of "Mr. Raffles" has to be one of the greatest charlatan's Pop music or Literature never saw. "Sebastian" presages Goth with touches of Prog. Of course, Cockney Rebel's debut, "Human Menagerie" & the follow up, "Psychomodo" are the cream of the crop. But this ties up loose ends nicely. Wonderful intro. Harley was the man behind it all, with a voice only Dylan's mother could love.

There is an original British version of Make Me Smile that is brilliant. Tragic that it is not here.
