Spoek sounds great! I first heard him from the Diplo remix of Robyn's "Dancehall Queen", and I've liked him ever since! Keep it going! This album deserves to be on the top charts!


This guy is a psycho. Stuff's amazing.

More of an artist

I came to Spoek via his song Control. I love it for its message in recognizing cultural and economic inequality. I love it for its driving beats and for its innovative music video. I know Spoek is capable of being innovative and making a huge impact with his music for the benefit of the folks who need it but I don't think this album does that. It's no call to motivation. It's more of a mixed bag of varied trials of music. Some sound eh, mainstreamy - other's have their own rights. He's doing his thing reinventing sound in this album but it just doesn't speak to me. Nothing seems overly compelling in it other than Grave.
