the best of the best

This album is closer to my heart than any other of my life. The CD was a gift to me and I first listened to it on a plane on a trip overseas, leaving my family behind for two years before i could come home. This album soothed my soul - I felt a release of all my emotions and a deep peace and freedom from fear of the future. This band has some of the best harmonies and vocalizations in Christian music. Their music is sincere and i never find it to be too preachy, though it is always truthful. The High Countries (based on The Great Divorce by CS Lewis) is a haunting and uplifting song and is my favorite track. Walk with Me and Manner of Means are also full of depth in content and they are soothing to listen to. My favorite album from my favorite Christian band, for sure.
