Editors’ Notes

50 Cent looks back at his hustler past with the cool demeanor of a mob boss under cross-examination, and his hook game is exceedingly sharp as well—“In da Club,” “What Up Gangsta,” “P.I.M.P.,” and “21 Questions” stick in the brain long after the lost note. Get Rich or Die Tryin’ made Fif a worldwide star, detailing a legendary, death-defying backstory that resonated with fans hungry for authenticity.

One of the Best

Because its fairly new (not as old as say Tupac, NWA, Dre, or Biggie), people don't want to put it in the top ten albums of all time. But it easily should make it, being one of probably 4 CDs I could ever listen all the way through. This song had amazing singles, and amazing songs that weren't singles. Every song was amazing.

many men

Many men is the best song on this allbum. And if you don't like you deserve a good slap in the face.

One of the Best in a While

The other day I was thinking why was this album so popular, because 50 was pretty unknown in the mainstreem world. Then it hit me, because of the great singles on this album. No album in a long time had as many good singles as this one did. Top 5 Songs are: 1. In da Club 2. Wanksta 3. P.I.M.P. 4. If I can't 5. 21 Questions

Following an unsuccessful late-'90s run at mainstream success (foiled by an attempt on his life in 2000) and a successful run on the New York mixtape circuit (driven by his early-2000s bout with Ja Rule), Eminem signed 50 Cent to a...
