hey !!!!!! why charge for 4secs of noise in some of these tracks?

If you have ever lived in Brasil, then you would understand and embrace this music. It speaks to the soul and cries out the truth of the harsh realities that many people there face. O Rappa is a perfect blend of music. The lyrics are powerful and vivid and the beat grabs you and takes you on a journey through their story. Some of my favorites are: Minha Alma, Bitterusso Champagne, and O Salto.


First heard in a taxi in São Paulo. Absolutely the perfect music for the ride. Not my usual thing, but good stuff...

Only the third CD, Lado B Lado A (1999), sold well: 150,000 copies in three months.
