Cant Wait

God is working in Matty's life for sure. Cannot wait for this album!

Rise Records drops the ball.

Matty Mullins has such amazing talent. He constantly seems to be working on his voice. Lyrically, this album contains so much passion. I can feel the love of Jesus in Matty's voice and lyrics, especially in the song Glory, however, instrumentally, this album falls short.
I am grateful to be able to hear Matty share his love for The Lord, however Rise Record's heartless, hollow instrumentals are too overly produced and mechanical. And this being a worship album I feel was the wrong approach.
Well done Matty, however, I would recommend hiring musicians with passion for your next release.

This is gunna be good!

i cant wait for this album to come out! The first song is amazing!

About Matty Mullins

Matty Mullins is best known as the lead vocalist for Dallas-based metalcore unit Memphis May Fire. Born July 3, 1988 in Spokane, Washington, Mullins, whose father was a pastor, spent his formative years listening to bands like Audio Adrenaline and the Newsboys. He played with a handful of like-minded groups before nailing an audition for Memphis May Fire in 2008, with whom he would go on to release five studio albums and an EP between 2009 and 2016. His largely faith-based eponymous debut solo album, which introduced a more nuanced and radio-ready style that traded in some of the more jarring hardcore elements for electronic textures, was issued via Rise Records in September 2014. In January, 2017 Mullins issued the eponymous first single from his sophomore studio long-player Unstoppable, which dropped later that spring. ~ James Christopher Monger
