King James is back and sweeps melodic metal, blues, ad power spiritual ballads back in with it!

visiken,

King James, featuring Jimi Bennett and Rex Carroll, delivers an album of great new content and re-imagined favorites with enough guitar laden cuts and vocal drama to kick over the can of gasoline and enough Christian passion to light it up and burn well beyond the 40 something minutes of greatness.

oneGodguitarist,

Awesome release! The music is right on and the vocals are powerful. This is a team that has one focus, to give God the glory through the talents they have been given.

Pleasantly surprised!

jrodious,

Didn’t expect much until after hearing the first song, then pleasantly hooked! Loving the rock/blues feel in these songs. Some definite Zeppelin influence here. Great song structure, memorable hooks, and tight rhythm section-a rock lovers definite must have!

About King James

Formed from the ashes of the '80s Christian rock band Whitecross is King James, guitarist Rex Carroll's new Christian outfit, established in the early '90s. Carroll, who is a two-time winner of the Dove Award as well as a five-time HM Magazine Critic's Darling for his fierce guitar work, wanted another creative piece in which he could musically develop. Together, with former Stryper drummer Robert Sweet and bassist Tim Gaines, King James was born and soon inked a deal with StarSong Records to release their eponymous debut in 1993. Seven years later, after a long break and regrouping, King James issued the sophomore effort entitled The Fall in mid-2000. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
