Reseña de álbum

A legendary set featuring a group of extremely controversial street poets. The Last Poets used offensive language brilliantly, talked in graphic detail about America's social and racial failures, and helped expose a wider audience to the sentiments of the '70s black nationalists. They were the forerunners of today's Afrocentric rappers, and also showed the way to a jazz/rap union now being explored on both sides of the Atlantic. This has been reissued on CD.

If U Don't Know...Now U Know .....

This is the joint. This may be dated over 30 years ago but this is right now.I used to listen to this in LA way back in the day on LP.The sad reality is the issues exposed on this CD still exist 30 years later.

This is Madness

Before RAP & HipHop these brothers put some words together that made people stop and look around at what going on in the hood. You must listen with both ears and only then will you hear the young black folks from the 60s who will later become the grandfathers of today Poets.
