My favorite CD yet

This is a collection of her newest songs, and believe me, she's come a long way. It's not produced like sincerely, me., but I think that helps keep it closer to her live performances, which is where she really shines. Walk On and Don't Cry are great, upbeat, catchy songs, while Breathe Honesty and Night are powerful, moving songs in a minor key (my favorite!). Down and Gone and Too Soon are nice, downtempo pieces with a beautiful melody. Memory is a beautiful, dreamy ballad that's gripping whichever way you hear it, though you really have to hear it live to appreciate its true power. ! is an unusual foray into electronic beats, and while very atypical of her style, it's a fun experiment. The final track is actually a jam session with a friend of hers, and the combination of the rhythm guitar with the beautiful solos is a rare treat. All in all a great CD, definitely worth checking out if you're new to Kina's music. I also recommend Blindly and People off of her EP.

Talented Singer Songwriter

I heard saw Kina when passing through the Irvine Spectrum one day. Her sound reminded of the first time I was handed a Michelle Branch CD before she made it big. I though wow, "this girls has got it." Though I've never bought a CD from a "mall artist" I bought Kina's with no hesitation and listen to it regularly. I especially enjoy "Walk On" and "Don't Cry." I was thrilled to see her gain the exposure she deserved with her Doritos Superbowl Ad.

AWESOME! So one album here and one on Super Bowl Sunday!!!

Kina Grannis knows how to get reviews! Her Superbowl Sunday hit and this before that. If only she would become more noticable because then her name would be everywhere. I love Colbie Callait and Sara Barellies so she is just another to add to my collection! Great job girl..... :)
