Customer Reviews

These tracks are not by the original artists. They are close approximations designed to trick the unwary, and thirty seconds is often not enough time to detect the difference. iTunes has too many of these bogus albums in the Music Store: it's annoying--and dishonest.

iTMS, come clean!

I know every note on the original tunes. I played them on the radio in the 70s. If you look on the CDs in brick-and-mortar stores, you can find information (or absence thereof) that will clue you in to the fact that many tracks are contemporary re-recordings. Unfortunately, you don't get those warnings on iTMS. I've been taken in on occasion, but no more. As someone who has purchased several hundred great tracks on iTMS, you can bet I'll be far more discriminating in the future. iTMS, I'd love to see =original= versions of these songs, but Please, remove the fakes!

Not the originals - watered down re-do's

Ditto to the person who said they "know every note" of these original tunes and they aren't the originals. Exactly right - I can tell by listening to the preview snip-its. If you like these songs, find the originals. You'll be disappointed in this selection.
