Such a great throwback, marvelous

I envision myself laying on my back in the living room and just listening to this music. I can't play violin, I wish I could be that cool, but minus the frets, I got nothing. This is great music --- my envisionment (is that even a word) was really inspired by "midnight on the water," I had heard that song done elsewhere but the name escapes me -- this particular version I think is done by the Mr. Jay Ungar, a great old time violinist, really steeped into old fiddle tunes and civil war era music. Also "Ashokan Farewell," another just gorgeous tune that you fiddlers out there would recognize. Ummm, "Hop High My Lulu Gal," I didn't know that was actually the name of the song --- funny story, I won't bore you but, Nickel Creek did a great rendition of this song and I always thought they were singing "Hot Rize, Hot Rize.." Oh, man.

Love it!!

So beautiful! My favorite is "Midnight on the water".
