hank III is right wayne is the best. i hope his old stella can hold up! another fun and jumping body of work from wayne. please come to the midwest again! if you like this genre,,,, this is a can't miss. and if you are just getting into it.. what a place to start. great musicians.

The king of western swing!

Call him old school, a throwback or whatever. Wayne Hancock is always on top of his game and his classic country sound is in a place all by itself. This album doesn't dissapoint. I'm always impressed by his ability to fit a small story about our common experience inside a good song, and to leave it with you long after the music has stopped. This one will keep your toes tappin'.

Great artist and album

I saw Wayne for the first time this week at the B.O.B in downtown Grand Rapids MI. He was part of the American Roots Concert Series. We were at a table in front of the stage. The venue was ideal and watching Wayne play the guitar up close was awesome. He is well worth seeing in person and buying his music.
