Good Miles Davis

He's made better, but you can't go wrong with a Gil Evans arrangement.

One of my favorites

Maybe not perfect or perfectly consistent, but creates a fantastic, enchanting mood. The three track sequence of 'Ship' to 'Pablo' is especially great. An excellent place to go once you've sampled Davis' essential small-group stuff.
