Rah Rah

Truly a hidden gem from the early stages of Mark Murphy's recording career. I like "That's How I Love The Blues!" release from the same period slightly better-- it swings much more than Rah. But Rah has is own charms with relaxed arrangements and delivery of a number of well-chosen songs including Milestones, Angel Eyes, Doodlin' and Stoppin' the Clock. He never sounded like this again once he matured and went off in different directions.
