A Great Jazz Trio!

Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter & Tony Williams. All at the top of their powers. Incredible jazz trio!!

Perfect music recorded superbly

These three are in total sync, Tony on drums seems to be equally as important musically and to be trading phrases with Herbie, and underneath is Ron's rich harmonic ideas and way of propelling the music. Herbie on the piano is one of the richest harmonically that I know of. I could listen to this forever. It is I think the culmination of Bill Evan's and Scott Lafaro's idea of simultaneous improvisation.

Herbie Hancock

This trio swings so hard it's almost unbelieveable! Great music.
