Major Classics!

A lot of hidden stuff on this. What a trip. I had not seen this until recently, and hard copies are impossible to find... so get your download on.


What is the difference between this and the one released in October of the same year. I cannot find and difference between the two based on the information shown on their store pages.

Heck yeah!

This was one of the hardest to find digital underground cd's of all time. I originally paid $45 for a used copy on eBay, so this is a real pleasure to get a new copy digitally. There's a lot of good stuff on here, but On One, Mind Bubble, People Over The Stairs, and Strawberry Letter 23 are absolute faves for your boy.

While hip-hop was consumed by the hardcore, noisy political rap of Public Enemy and the gangsta rap of N.W.A., Digital Underground sneaked out of Oakland with their bizarre, funky homage to Parliament-Funkadelic. Digital Underground built most of their music from P-Funk samples and developed a similarly weird sense of style and humor, highlighted by Shock-G's outrageous costumes and the whole band's parade of alter egos.
