Motivating Music + Gold Medal Winner Coach = LOVE!
For someone who needs a little motivation getting out for a training run this is great! When you're in the throes of training it can be boring logging another day of the same run. This helps, especially with Joan Benoit (can't imagine a better coach!) giving me tips along the way - just when I need it! The music is a bonus, I probably wouldn't have heard some of these song nor thought they'd be good for running but my normal route was over before I knew it :) I would recommend this to anyone who needs a little extra push training for a run or even just starting out.
I cannot get the voiceover to work on my iPod touch outside of the nike+ program. I want to be able to use the feature without my nike+ since I find a GPS to be much more accurate as compared to my GPS. Music great and so is the voiceover, I just want to be able to always hear it if I choose to!
Marathon Mix #2 Joan Samuelson
I use this with Joan's marathon mix #1 when I train on long runs. I find some of the tips good and timely when running. Music is good, and introduced me to music I was not familiar with. I am 48 years old and did not this music before. I use 5-6 different coached work outs so mix it up. I find during the winter while I am forced back to the treadmill this helps keep me motivated.
