Immutably Brilliant

Been listening to Robert Wyatt since I was woken up, way too early one morning after a night of way too much, to the sounds of "Sea Song" from the album "Rock Bottom." I can't imagine not having his voice and melody to inform me of some new emotion, word or melody that has been without narration, until now. Beautiful stuff!!

Maddog foams at the ears!

Wyatt lives on an edge that most consider the end of the earth. Those in -ddog's world are living at 2 dimensions. When R.W. started singing in 2 extra languages & playing coronet, although unnecessary, has added a 5th plane. Other listeners may be afraid of travel, and circumvent the airfield. Metaphor aside, perhaps Wyatt is a TRUE anachronist and perfect postmodern musician. Why do some people listen to music they won't understand? Then judge with so much pudding on the brain. I mean that literally. Vive la Wyatting!

A big surprise

This record came out of no where for me. Miles Davis meets Indie Pop crossed with tiny hints of electro. I love seeing someone consider to be so old compared to most modern artist doing something that sounds so new and fresh.
