iTunes Review

Adam Young crosses genre lines with a pop-inspired electronic opus.

I love that he is putting songs up that glorify the Lord!!

I really miss "Owl City"

I love Adam, and he will always have my support. But I must say I am very disappointed in his recent pop junk. Owl City is Owl City because of his unique essence - quirky and optimistic lyrics, unique and defined synth sounds, ethereal and dreamy imagery. I'm all about change, because change is good, but in my opinion, it's only good when you stay true to your essence. Now, I can barely tell the difference between "Owl City" and the typical pop junk that everyone else is doing. Maybe just a synth here and there, but the essence of his new music is now among the rest of the pop scene.

I miss the Owl City that we once knew. You will still have my support regardless. Eagerly awaiting for your return to your original essence.

The uniqueness of the album is beautiful

Everything stands out in its own way. After the first listen the melodies may seem weird but as you keep listening you develop a natural appreciation of the music. It's pretty amazing.

He eventually combined those diversions into a blend of electronica and emo-pop, using little more than his computer and various keyboards to record the material. Songs were uploaded to MySpace...
