Yo It's Stephy Jey y'all

What's Good Ituners? Just feel me real quick. You dig fresh hip hop, than you must cop this joint. It's not very often that people can get a dosage this potent and raw, so take advantage of it while you can. Theo exposes himself to the world which most cats are not willing to do. This album represents the real. Musically its great. Theory Hazit delivers the freshness with lyricism you can expect only from Theory. TOni Shift killed it on tracks like Careless mister (one of my personal favs) and comes really creative on tracks like Grow old and concealed pain. So give this album a try and support hip hop y'all. Plus cop Lord fire 1 and 2 also. Peace

Modern Marvels Reaches Into The Classic Past

If this is your first listen to any material by Theory Hazit, you will be pleasantly surprised with what you hear. Hazit is an artist that tries to delve into the crates of classic, MoTown and old vinyl record samples to produce beautiful compositions. This time, it is a producer, Toni Shift, who is laying the groundwork of his "theory" to make this good, latest addition to Hazit's collection.

Theo in this goes album goes into more detailed facets of life, from making mistakes in encounters in failed relationships (Careless Mister) and the terror of being bullied (Concealed Sorrow). So, there is something for everyone in terms of topics rather than one unifying theme. The characteristic boom-bap style mixed with creative sounds of vinyl's chopped up and swirled into classic beat flavor makes this album an instant pick-up.

While the overall sound is good, I think the only flaw is that some songs are too generic when it comes to the wordplay, while Hazit has piercing lyrical attacks and story-poetic styles, is sometimes too repetitive. Specifically, his delivery is there, but not as varied like in his first full-length LP "Extra Credit." He tries to vary it up in terms of rapping style with the song "Marvelust," which is a neat change.

This is a great album to add to your collection of Theory Hazit's already growing reputation as an artist and a musical producer.

Real Hip Hop

Gospel hip-hop needs more albums like this. Theory Hazit doesn't dissapoint, and this album is no exception. Hot tracks, a few unique beats and killer verses all throughout the album make this a welcome addition to any library. I personally liked "Day By Day" and "We Are The Ones" right from the start. The beats are sick and the flow even sicker. Support this album and these artists, please don't dub this off your boy. Gospel hip hop is already struggling to find an audience even among believers, and every copy you make is taking money out of the artist's pocket!
