Silver Side Up finds frontman Chad Kroeger and company pushing the post-grunge envelope with mechanized production and distorted vocals. The subject of volatile relationships is explored in the album's standout track, "How You Remind Me," but it's the pummeling "Hangnail" that cemented the band's reputation as the keepers of the grunge flame.

Nickelback rocks and always will! As long as they make songs like this they'll rock forever. I highly recomend it!

Rock childhood memories

when i was just starting my alternative rock stages as a 6th grader, i heard about nickelback from a friend, and i must say, this was a good idea of a buy. even though this version doesn't have 'never again' which was one of my fave fight songs to begin with (curse u itunes), the rest of the album just flows with the energy that chad & the rest of nickelback brought upon this era of the world.
