All about Asheru

Please Kweli can rap, but I believe the It's Asheru featuring Kweli. Asheru brings it with old school hip-hop lyrics. Not heard of since Run DMC the bass beat is that of an old rap formula. After being around and more active then Kweli It time Asheru got some recoganition. Love Kweli but this is Asheru's Time to Shine pick up tis album, and get 48 months.

who wrote the 1st review?!

serious john. the beat is john coltraine. so john coltraine is dreadful?! idiot. he's more of a music pioneer than most rappers.

Gotaa know your music history

DREADFUL!?!? The beat is based on In A Sentimental Mood by John Coltrane and Duke Ellington two of the greatest musicians of the 20th Century. Do your homework, i'm sure Asheru and Kweli did. As for the song, I could do without the R&B crooning and honestly both Asheru and Kweli have dropped better verses on other songs but this is definitely a solid effort.
