Classic E.S. Posthumus

E.S. Posthumus comes roaring back from their last album, the mellow Cartographer (featuring Luna Sans), with hard hitting Makara. A good way to describe this and E.S. Posthumus' other hard hitting album, Unearthed, is a lot more complex Pirates of the Carribean with guitars and a drum set. Vishnu, Varuna, Durga, Unstoppable, Arise, Anumati are the best songs on the album. They all develop strong themes in really interesting ways. The Vonlichten brothers are experts at using syncopation, hemiolas, different tempos, and even silence to make their music epicly classical. If you think the previews are good, just wait until you hear the whole songs.

E.S. Posthumus's Makara redefines 'Masterpiece'!

E.S. Posthumus's Makara is a breathtaking masterpiece that can clearly be considered a divine inspiration. After much anticipation, the release of Makara far exceeded my expectations and I can promise it will change your life positively if you sincerely ponder their music. As a long time fan of the work of Franz and Helmut Vonlichten, this is among one of their greatest achievements yet, and I am so honored to be able to have this album in my possession. It is difficult to actually describe this album because it is unlike any other musical experience that can be described in the English language. This music penetrates your imagination and soul, and is ideal to boost creativity unlike you've ever had before. Much of my success in my life can be given thanks to the work of E.S. Posthumus, because it serves as an extraordinary inspiration. I more-than-highly recommend purchasing this priceless gem for the earthly price of $11.99. For me, it just may be one of the grandest investments I've made via iTunes. Thank you E.S. Posthumus for all of the work inputted into Makara! The results are spectacular.

A Masterpiece

Taking the few highlights of "Unearthed" and mixing in the awe from "Cartographer", "Makara" shines as a true testament to the genius of E.S. Posthumus. The exciting, epic and dramatic rhythms have always inspired new ideas in me, and this album has just the right amount of uplifting thrills such as "Vishnu" and "Indra". You haven't experienced E.S. Posthumus until you've experienced "Makara".
