Awesome!

The lead guitarist and vocalist Joe Pascarel is a great musician. I hear so much feeling in these songs from him. He embodies the music and you can feel he truly loves Pink Floyd. Todd successfully keeps the beat with lighter brush rods here and the pulse is more felt than heard, exactly as it should be in an acoustic set. The tune Mother is a standout for me. I love this band and if you can get out to see them live - watch out. They can play Floyd in their sleep and the feeling never leaves. Awesome - Buy this set it's a great Welcome...To The Machine!

Obscurity Abounds!

Looking at the tracklist surprised me. The best-known song on this album is probably Mother, just because it's from The Wall. And Mother, by the way, is pretty AWESOME. The vocalist sounds a lot like Roger Waters, so props to him, even when he takes the second vocal line. (He's great with If as well.) The only issue I have with this collection is that the singing can be a bit unbearable at times. Like The Gnome. It was probably the weakest song on The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, and the vocalist makes it thoroughly unlistenable for me here. I also like the selections from Meddle, which thankfully don't include Seamus. And, wow, do these guys love Syd Barrett! Piper is decently represented, and we are even treated with some updated tracks from his solo career.
Overall, very well done. This is a much better acoustic tribute than the Acoustic Hits album, which features female vocalists, overplayed tracks, and almost no band. And I expected good results from a group that is regularly paid to BE Pink Floyd for adoring fans.
