Mozart Piano Concerto c minor and c major
I had forgotten the great pianist that was Robert Casadesus. He excels in Mozart. The playing is musical sound and the temps are awesome. Most play Mozart too fast. The cadenzas, which I believe are his own compositions, are excellent and fun. Szell's conducting is masterful as usual. This is truly a great performance series. I recommend to any Mozart lover. My only regret is that Casadesus did not record the d minor concerto. If you want a great recoring of that piece, get the Arturo Benedetto Michelangeli - Cord Garben recording Deutsche Grammaphone.
