iTunes Review

Hollywood funnyman Seth MacFarlane delivers a loving tribute to big-band-era pop. With exquisite arrangements inspired by Frank Sinatra’s mid-’50s output, the velvety crooner displays a keen understanding of swing music's frisky sense of romance. On the brassy “The Night They Invented Champagne,” his words flow as woozily as if he'd uncorked the bubbly right in the studio, and he plays a convincing anxious lover on the scampering "Nine O'Clock." Let's not forget the starry-eyed “Two Sleepy People,” in which Norah Jones' honeyed vocals drip with longing.

THIS is what real music sounded like back in the day. I'm only 18 and I find this music a million times better than the crap they play on the radio now. reminds me of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. at least we finally get a sense of REAL music in modern times. we need more artists with this kind of style. we need to get back to GOOD MUSIC. not this techno style crap we hear every day. thank you, Seth, for bringing real music back!!!

A voice so smooth...

If Seth's voice doesn't just melt your being there's something wrong with you.

it was amazing

this is a reincarnation of amazing music and i think it could start him a new career
