Infectious and sincere

I'm a local Orlando student and I found this album in the local artists section of the Park Ave, Jr. record store. Having a soft spot for good rocking girl power-type music, I checked it out. I was blown away. Not only is Cori's music harder, catchier, and more sincere than any of the popular female rock singers, but she is a legit songwriter and not a glossy record company experiment like Avril or Ashlee. Check out any song on this album, but I most recommend "How the World Goes Around." You'll be hooked, trust me.

Cori Yarckin has a great voice, powerful lyrics and a great sense of style in her music. Buy this album you won't be dissapointed. I hope Cori sings more music and sells more albums, she is amazing.

Cori Yarckin one of the rising stars of 06'

From the second I heard her song "shatterproof" I knew that Yarckin was something special. Her songs are a powerful blend of rock, pop and alternative giving her a unique and genuine sound that most of the female rock artists out today do not have. Unlike many other performers Yarckin is a legitimate artist who wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on her album, thus there is a good deal of herself within this record. It shows. The emotion in the record is truely amazing, and will grab your attention from the moment you hear it. I reccommend the songs "shatterproof" and "gratitude" i find myself listening to them over and over, and they songs are so great I never get tired of them.

Even as a little girl, Cori Yarckin was most comfortable in the spotlight. Growing up in the Orlando area, she danced in Disney specials, sang children's opera, and even studied theater. 2000 was a big year for Yarckin. She landed the role of Camille Ruiz on the short-lived Nickelodeon kid comedy Noah Knows Best, and made a few fleeting appearances on ABC's pop reality masterpiece Making the Band. Noah was canceled in 2001, but Yarckin used the exposure to boost her burgeoning singing career. She...
