Excellent work

Bruce Barth is a talented musician who is well-rounded (check out his Strayhorn arrangements). This album is a good example of his work and is very satisfying for the listener. His work will grow on you.

A night out at home

This is a great album - start to finish. I have heard Bruce live and he always sounds great. Here, he sounds better than ever! I played this album tonight and it instantly transformed our living room into a jazz club . I encourage other real jazz fans to simply play this album, close your eyes and let it take you away. If this is your first time listening to Bruce, you will be completely hooked by the time you get to the title track you and you will be planning when you can listen to it again.. If you already know Bruce's music, you will be reminded of why you fell in love with him! Finally, one quick note on the order of songs- they made some great choices! Enjoy!
