Brooke's Best Yet

I've foillowed Jonatha's career from her early solo career and this is her most personal and haunting work yet. As the songs supporting her one-woman show about her mother's long term battle with Alzheimer's, the songs on this CD are just beautiful. Her lyrics take you through the triumphs, heartbreaks, and sense of hope in dealing with someone with a terminal illness. There's so much universal appeal here for any music lover to enjoy! "Time" is my favorite song on the CD--who wouldn't want to broker a deal with the inevitable just to have a few more moments with someone we love. The depth of compassion on display here is just inspiring. Get the CD, but make more of an effort to see the show!

Jonatha Brooke's new album is simply exquisite…and seeing jonatha's one woman musical play of the same name is an experience that is profoundly deep, moving and inspiring…(and hilarious!)…
