Great Song!

This is a great song that captures great truths. This song and Susan's "The Gospel Truth" are her best works yet.

A Song that captured our feelings of helplessness

This single was indeed a satellite hit- especially on the now-lost and sorely missed Sirius Disorder. It captured the feelings of those of who felt lost during the Bush Era and it also very optimistically said we'd get past it. This was an unbelievable statement at the time, but she was right. Thank you Ms. Werner.

Really? No, I mean, REALLY?

I came across Susan Werner back in the mid 90s, when she opened for Howard Jones at The Bottom Line in NYC. Great, smart chick-folk-rock. Hadn't checked out her music for years...and I'm disappointed. What the heck happened? Her early work was universally interesting, and now she's just taking political shots like ten million others. And, what's worse, its not as good as the early stuff. Sad.
