I love it!!!

I love this song. I have been a Mellencamp fan for many years now. I enjoyed this song and downloaded it right away. It has a very catchy-tune, it makes me want to dance around the room. I enjoyed this song better than his last single, Our Country. I can't wait untill his album comes out July 15. No wonder he was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!

mellencamp will finally get his due...

John Mellencamp may well be one of the most under appreciated American songwriters. Look, he's never been touchy feelie, and lets face it something about that makes him a little harder to warm up to. But the fact remains whether we're talking about driving all american rock anthems (Pink Houses) or tremendous pop sing alongs (Wild Night) Mellencamp is the guy you go to when you're looking for somebody who will feel your every day pain and sing right to it. This song is edgey and different from anything he's ever done. It's clear that the T-Bone Burnett connection and the bad taste of Chevy tires over his face have made him give the bird to the naysayers and now he has returned with a really organic and cool new tune. This one is solid and I heard another track "Troubled Land," on the radio too. These songs seem very real, very edgey and very forward. I'll take it John. I'll take whatever you're serving because I know it's real.

Throughout his career, John Mellencamp has had to fight, whether it was for the right to record under his own name or for respect as an artist. Of course, he never made it easy on himself. Mellencamp began his career in the late '70s as a Bruce Springsteen clone called Johnny Cougar. As his career progressed, his music became more distinctive, developing into a Stonesy blend of hard rock and folk-rock. His musical development coincided with his growth in popularity -- by the time "Hurts So Good"...
