Customer Reviews

I hear an artist and I say, bravo!

"What do you Hear? What do you say?"
It's not just skillful and sophisticated. It is understated brilliance.
You don't just hear the music. You listen to the music and the music embraces you. There is not a moment wasted. There is not a hurried step. This album is full of gentle expression.
I hear art and I say Bravo.

I'm completely WOWed

I stumbled upon Jon Bell's music while reading a great review about this album, which included a preview of "Mindless Banter".After hearing this song I could not wait to get home to download his debut album and I am so glad I did! His music is right up my alley, reminiscent of Bon Iver amongst some of my other all time favorite artists, while still very much having his own sound. His music is charming, the lyrics honest, and his voice is very easy on the ears -- it's beautiful! He is a true artist and I cannot wait to see how far his talent will take him! I'm definitely a fan and I'm excited to share his music with others!

Amazing debut album from a talented new artist

Set aside some time to listen to this album because once you start the first song you won't stop listening until it's over. There's a very unique yet recognizable sound here that's comforting but also challenging. The album is constructed and produced with calculated precision but remarkably never feels overworked or heavy-handed. That's a rarity these days from something so carefully crafted. Amazing debut album from a talented new artist, love it!
