EDITORS’ NOTES

Lay (Zhang Yixing) marks his official U.S. debut with NAMANANA. The full-length features 22 tracks—11 Chinese and English-language versions apiece—all bearing his writer and co-producer credits. Riding the warm reception in Europe and North America to his first two albums, the multi-talented pop idol fast-tracks his international ambitions with NAMANANA’s lead single, “Give Me a Chance.” A collaboration with American singer/songwriter Bazzi, its sparse yet seductive beat perfectly matches Lay’s crooned lyrics to an ex-lover.
