Album Review

San Francisco's Stroke 9 cranks out plenty of snappy, hook-laden tunes on their major-label debut Nasty Little Thoughts. Songs like "Little Black Backpack" and "Washin' & Wonderin'" showcase the college rock roots of their songwriting, and Jerry Harrison's production adds a radio-friendly sheen.

nice music

the sounds of stroke 9 are great. great lyrics, great songs, and a great album i recommend anyone getting a hold of the sound of stroke 9 as quickly as they can

I love it!!

I've listened to this album 100s of times since I bought it 8 years ago - I love it!! There's not a bad song on it - I put it in, hit play and enjoy!

I'm genuinely suprised

I can't believe I don't own any of Stroke 9's albums. I, like the rest of the public, assumed that with "Little Black Backpack", that was the only shot at good music they had, but boy was I ever wrong. I am listening to this cd, and it's basically awesome. Not the entire thing, it's rare that I ever like an album all the way through, but this one, and Stroke 9's new one come extremely close. They are chock full of songs that will just make you glad to be alive. They are witty, fun, and cute. So, if that's the kind of music you're in the mood / looking for, then look no further. You've found the pot of gold.
