Since '06

I stumbled upon the Ruffians in 2006 and was instantly infatuated. Over the years, they've become more refined, while still maintaining the raw, puckish nature that drew me to them. Can't wait for the full album and the Bowery show.

Born Again

Yeah so I was a huge fan of their album 'Red, Yellow, & Blue' because it was thoroughly great. Luke Lalonde's voice is stunning in this and "Needle" is exactly what their new single ought to be: catchy and interesting with up-beat melodies, balanced ironically and perfectly with the afflicted tone of the lyrics. And for the record, there's nothing wrong with a song being catchy. The true test is how long you can listen to it and not start to hate it. I can't count the number of times I've listened to their other hits like 'Kurt Vonnegut' and 'I Need a Life' and, yeah, I STILL love it. And now, I'm finding it really really hard NOT to play this one on repeat. I mean, it's seriously...just what I needed.

Lovely.

ummmm has anyone noticed..

That this is the biggest fleet foxes rip off ever..
