Eureka!

This actually works! It nibbles at Ke$ha's white girl pop-hop, floors Lady Gaga like anthemic hooks & choruses, but delivers pop with the style and sophistication of previous incarnations of Goldfrapp. Granted, some tracks are simply too sweet or are over-the-top-pop fillers, but it has a little bit of grittiness, a little bit of rock, which makes it listenable. If you haven't had enough of the unnamed pop-genre, this may appease fans disappointed by recent venues of those other artists.

You should grab this

One of the better albums I've picked up in a while. A great mix of electro, pop, vocals, guitar hooks, synths, and beats. I've been waiting to get this full length after I saw the band live in New York back in June. You Are The Night is a good example of the range of this band with songs like OMFG, Nevada, and Capitol City showing off some of the heavy snyth/electro/punk they're really good at all the while tracks like Come Back To Me and Name On My Lips show the bands ability to slow it down. I hear a lot of Franz Ferdinand, The Rakes, and Metric in this but they're able to make this offering their own and add to the genre. I would definitely recommend picking this up.

Awesome!

i saw them on channel 1 and i can't get them out of my head. i think the're british
